The Save Time Squad Committee
On June 8, 2001, the first episode of Time Squad aired on Cartoon Network.
Time Squad started off with an orphan named Otto Osworth, ridiculed and abused for reading his history books. Just when the poor boy's life didn't seem like it would have any hope, two time travelers from the year 100 Million appear in his bedroom in search of Eli Whitney. It was a buff time-cop man named Officer Buck Tuddrussel, and his sophisticated, yet sassy robot, the Larry 3000. Both were part of an organization, known as the Time Squad force, that monitors history and travels back in time when things get off track.
Officer Tuddrussel was none-too-bright, overzealous, and in desperate need of anger management. Larry was a former ambassador robot forced to work for Tuddrussel, when he lost his job because all of Earth's governments formed one big super-nation. Neither knew history. After getting to know each other, all three came to realize they were destined to form a team.
Since then, Time Squad has made learning history fun for its viewers. Using Tuddrussel's brute strength, Larry's culture programming, and Otto's broad knowledge of history, Time Squad has gone on mission after mission, from helping Julius Caesar to stabilize Rome, to convincing Harry Houdini to use his illusions for good and not for evil.
Now to cut to the chase: Time Squad has been cancelled after two seasons!
We the "Save Time Squad Committee" are prepared to do anything to save this show from going down. Hundreds of fans will be disappointed by this loss, and there are so many locations unvisited by Time Squad, no one could think them up at one time.
Thus, encouraged by my friends actions, I have decided to create this committee to bring all fans together to save this show from leaving us too soon.
